WHAT DO I CLEAN MY WHEELS WITH?

What to clean your wheels with depends what your wheel is made from and what finish it has. Polished, un protected wheels are best washed when cool with a good quality car wash and warm soapy water. When a re polished is required Mothers mag and aluminium polish is best. Painted, chrome and clear coated wheels are best washed when cool with a good quality car wash and warm soapy water. If in doubt, don’t hesitate to ask us.

HOW TO REMOVE THE BLUE PAINT ON TYRES?

White wall and white lettering tyres are shipped with a protective blue paint covering the white areas. A good strategy is to leave the blue paint intact until the tyres are fitted and balanced ready to bolt on. At this time a bucket of warm soapy water and a scrubbing brush will scrub the blue away. A fingernail brush works best.
